shit is so hard. i cant make games anymore. i drop them halfway. gamedev is not as fun as it once used to be. im just tired of just doing everything behind the scenes and failing. im struggling to work on edged and i even made an engine for a side project that i lost due to power loss. so yeah. im gonna try and make edged with all of those bells and whistles and then go work on life for once.

If youre not enjoying something u started doing, its no point on forcing yourself, you may need a break, with all time needed, so u can recover, feel better and if you wish go back to gamedev, with more motivation, try seeking something that motivates you, the last thing we want is that you feel forced and stressed
i've feel the same way, i'm just waiting until i get the motivation to continue game dev.
Take all the time you need, zen. Burnout sucks, we all experience it at some point. Take a long, well deserved break, man.

Burnout sucks, you shouldnt push yourself to the brim when you know its hurting you
Take a break, Make it as long as you can, never make promises of releasing things on a deadline
And most importantly, take care of yourself

I think you should take a break, if you keep doing something that you don't want to right now, there's a high chance you'll end up disliking it, so, it's better for you to just take a break and relax for sometime and come back to what you're doing later.
