@s-zenmode Perhaps you could try using the old version's API key in the newer version of the game, so that people who played the newer version unlock medals in the older version of the game, and that way nobody loses any medals

I don't know if Newgrounds' security would allow for other projects to utilize one's API - plus I think that would break some Newgrounds API rule somewhere someplace. Personally it's just best to go with an upfront presentation. It's like including a console without the charger but the price of the charger has been deducted from the console cost - its not exactly complete.
Gimmick
tip - if you have made major updates to a game like zen tank tds and you want to see if it can get any awards, try releasing it as a new version rather than updating the entry. a lot of portal games get awards in the early stages when they pass judgement, not after they've already been released a long time later because far fewer people play it down the road unless it's really, really popular

True but I already added many medals boards and I didn't want players to re-earn it all but I think if I make more infrequent updates then the gaps will make enough sense
